somewhere - research

For our new brief 'somewhere', I have researched via Google to find some images to inspire me in what photographs to take for my work.

Every person has their own interpretation of 'somewhere'. Some people may think of somewhere they go to relax, others to use free time participating in something they enjoy, some people may think of somewhere as a place of work, a place to spend time with friends, family or others. Some just enjoy spending time out and about looking at buildings or scenery.

Somewhere could be..

  • a place to hide
  • a break away from home
  • somewhere to relax
  • social meet up with friends
  • an imaginary place
  • somewhere impossible
and lots more.

Here are a few images of my interpretation or 'somewhere'.

Peaceful Beach Water Cool
I like this photo because it is really calm and peaceful. I see this image as break away from home, time for a break and time to yourself and your body to relax and take time away from a constant working life.

I also like this photograph, because I like big cities
and busy places. After you work for such a long time, there is nothing better than being able to take a break and spend your well-earned money on things for yourself.

This photograph could be represented for a lot of people. Sometimes when we get mad, angry or upset, we want to be locked away and alone. Many people would want to be locked away in a dark place away from everybody. This photograph shows darkness and peacefulness, also it shows loneliness.
