Here is a picture of Jade, I took her to Ampitheatre to take some pictures amongst the trees. I asked her to raise her arms up in the air so she looked taller and more discrete.
Here is Jodie, Jade and Lewis (L-R). I thought I could use these three to hide behind a tree as if they are playing a game of hide and seek.

6 sentences I have chosen.
Below are the six sentences I have chosen off the list. The reason I have chosen these sentences are because I think I could make a better image out of them than the others, also these seem more intresting to me.
If you had to leave your heart somewhere, where would it be?
Somewhere you really shouldn't go.
Somewhere secret.
Somewhere colourful.
Somewhere powerful.
Somewhere you can hide.

Image Manipulation - 3) Steve Fanning
These images by Steven Fanning show how images can be edited to give them a different texture, a different experience when you see the image.
The image above has been edited to make the picture look smoother and softer, also to give the image a special touch. I like this image as it shows how the fragile baby needs a soft touch, also the colours add to the effect.
This image above has been edited so that the main highlight of the picture is the couple, so that when you first look at the photograph you see the couple highlighted rather than the decorative background being stood out.
I quite like these photographs because they shows the difference before and after they have been edited.

Image Manipulation - 2) Karol Kolodzinski
Here are two images from the artist Karol Kolodzinski.
This image is sponsered by Nike, this image can be used as a logo or for advertisement. This image is using peoples legs to create different letters.
I like this image because of the dark colours, also how the two faces are both attached at the neck.
I'm not too keen on these two images as I think with image manipulation you can be more creative with the photographs rather than just do simple edits.

somewhere.
Here are two images taken on two different settings, one was used with a green filter and the other used a with a red filter. The red filter takes a better picture as it can make your skin look smoother and slightly airbrushed. Here are four photographs that were taken to show the difference between the two.

Image Manipulation - 1) Erik Johansson
For task two of our 'Somewhere' brief, we must research five photographers that use image manipulation for their work. We must research images that they have created through the image manipulation software, then we must score them out of ten, 1 being bad and 10 being excellent, reasons why and explanations why we do or do not like their selected photo.
My first researched artist is Erik Johansson, I like the image below because it is definitely out of the ordinary. It makes you think about the image and how this software is used to create the photo to make it look realistic rather than fake. I like this image a lot, I would rate it 7/10.
This photograph below is one of my favourites from Erik, mainly because the editing used actually makes this photograph so real, as if the water has actually come out of the picture from the river and into the house. Also you can see her reflection from the water on the floor that has 'apparently' dropped out of the photo. I rate this image 8/10.
